Νέες κυκλοφορίες Forkys και Korean Factor!
Νέα κυκλοφορία θα υπάρξει εντός των επόμενων δύο εβδομάδων και από το project Korean Factor, ένα ep με δύο συνθέσεις, υπό τον τίτλο "Hapkido Generation".

On May, 1st Forkys' new ep "Dying Is An Art" will be officially released by Super8 Productions! It will be available for free download in mp3 and FLAC formats. Later, an audiophile CD version will also be available.Korean Factor will also have a 2-track ep ready to be released on a couple of weeks! Its title is "Hapkido Generation" and it will also be a free download.

Forkys: "Live In Xanthi" released!
In December, 14th, 2007 Forkys had the opportunity for a concert in the city of Xanthi, a magnificent place of northern Greece (Thraki perfecture). The concert took place at the hall of the local folkloric museum, established in a historic building of the Old City. This was band's last official concert, since then the duet goes on as a studio project.
"Live In Xanthi" released thanks to producers facilities in sound and video. The original material has been recently edited, then mastered at studio Echostassion (Athens, GR). It is a full lenght release, based on previous tracks, as at that time "My Spirit Freed At Last" CD (Dead Scarlet Records) was the band's latest release.

Αναβολή του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Ecofilms Ρόδου!
Δυστυχώς, οι εκδηλώσεις πολιτισμού είναι και αυτές θύματα των ασφυκτικών δημοσιονομικών μέτρων. Το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Οικολογικού Κινηματογράφου Ρόδου, γνωστό ως Ecofilms, ανακοίνωσε την αναβολή, σε πρώτη φάση, της φετινής διοργάνωσης, που ήταν προγραμματισμένη για το διάστημα 21-26 Ιουνίου.
Στην ανακοίνωση, αναφέρεται ότι ο Δήμος Ρόδου, και βασικός χρηματοδότης του Φεστιβάλ, αδυνατούσε να καλύψει τα έξοδα της διοργάνωσης, οπότε και αποφάσιστηκε η μετάθεση της διοργάνωσης (πιθανότατα μεταφέρεται τον Νοέμβριο) ή η αναβολή του, με προοπτική το ραντεβού να ανανεωθεί το 2012... Να ευχηθούμε ό,τι καλύτερο για την διευθύντρια κα Λουκία Ρικάκη, τον συντονιστή κο Νίκο Νικολαϊδη και όλο το προσωπικό του Φεστιβάλ, που επί τόσα χρόνια διοργανώνανε μια υψηλού επιπέδου διοργάνωση, δίνοντας την ευκαιρία σε νέους Έλληνες σκηνοθέτες να προβάλλουν το έργο τους και να έρθουν σε επαφή με ομότεχνους τους από όλο τον κόσμο. Φαίνεται ότι οι εθνικές πορνοστάρ και το κακό ποδοσφαιρικό πρωτάθλημα θα αποτελέσουν την πολιτιστική μας αναφορά για τα επόμενα χρόνια..
ΥΓ Οι ταινίες "Όρος Πεντέλη, υπο Σταυρών και Κεραιών" και "Οι Τελευταίοι που Σμίλεψαν το Μάρμαρο" αποτέλεσαν μέρος του προγράμματος το 2005 και 2007. Αυτή τη χρονιά είχε κατατεθεί το "Απέραντο Μαύρο".
Rhodes' Ecofilm Festival Postponed!
"This is sadly due to the fact that the local authorities in Rodos due a heavy restructure in the whole Greek administration system also linked to the Greek financial crisis were unable to solve several administration issues related also to the organization of this year's festival.
Thus, we have to postpone this year's event to probably a later date - sometime in November or as the case may be if they still face the same issues, we may have to skip it and go directly to next year's organization in June, 2012", as the press office declared.
We wish the best for the director mrs Lucia Rikaki, the coordinator mr Nikos Nikolaides and all the people that during the past events, managed to bring together cinematographers and artists from all over the world.
PS "Mount of Penteli" and "Words Made of Marble" have been included in the program of 2005 and 2007. "Deep Black" documentary was about to be screened in this year's festival.
